Warranty
Swiss Watches Direct specialises in TAG Heuer and Omega watches and so for these brands only we are able to offer a 3 year warranty (usually only 2 years) on most of the range. The warranty card is issued under our own name. However, in the event of a warranty issue, your watch would still be repaired at one of TAG Heuer's or Omega's authorised repair centres, just as you would expect.

Please note that many of the TAG Heuer and Omega watches also have the option to be supplied with the manufacturer's international 2 year warranty card (3 year warranty for Omega's Co-Axial movements) instead of our own 3 year cover.

For all other brands, the manufacturer's warranty card will be issued, typically for 2 years.

All warranties issued will cover you against manufacturing defects, but will exclude; bracelets, straps, batteries (1 year only), wear & tear, misuse and abuse. Please note that the crown should be fully screwed in (where applicable) to ensure water resistance.

Extended Warranty - Quartz Batteries
In addition, we will include a 1 year warranty on all quartz batteries. This is over and above the manufacturer's warranty and any other warranty you are likely to find.

Manufacturer's Website Notices
Understandably, manufacturers do not like the competition posed by Internet companies and only want purchases to be made via the high street dealers. This way they can protect the retail prices that the high street dealers must sell at. However, as we only buy from authorised dealers ourselves, which can be shown by the warranties supplied (except the TAG Heuer watches which have been issued with our own exclusive 3 year warranty card), the watch is identical to you purchasing from the dealer yourself. Therefore, neither the authorised dealers nor the manufacturers will be able to differentiate that you have bought your watch from Swiss Watches Direct and so they will honour the warranty.

Swiss Watches Direct has sold thousands of watches and we have never had a dispute over warranty. We are so confident about this that we even provide our own warranty with all of our watches which is identical to the manufacturer's warranty. This way, there is absolutely no doubt that your watch will be fully covered.

Finally, if you still have reservations about warranty cover then why not consider taking out either the 3 or 5 year 'Extra Cover' option. This extended warranty and insurance cover is provided by Assurant Solutions, the same company that provides many of the national high street jewellery shops in the UK. This policy will not only extend the manufacturer's warranty, but will also cover you for accidental damage, international theft and robbery.
