The smaller Navitimer models keep elements of Breitling's aviation identity without always reproducing the classic slide rule chronograph. Navitimer 32 and Navitimer 36 references can differ in both movement and dial design, so do not assume that one is simply a smaller version of the other. Some are more decorative, while others have a restrained everyday appearance.

Check the movement type, case thickness and dial markers when comparing references. A bracelet may give a very different look from a leather strap, and a busy dial is not necessarily better if you want easy everyday legibility.
